hola chicuelos~!

Hello neighbors! Here you have the record that followed the almost personal side project of 'Juan Manuel', this duo from Monterrey put out this record that didn't have the distribution past records had pero had a ton of singles with their own music video and everything. But what's really interesting about this record are the "other" songs, the songs that didn't make it into the radio, the more calm, collected and cool stuff, really groovy stuff. A record from 2005 to revisit or check out for the first time, and to truly understand why these guys are still in the scene and why they've gotten the recognition they've gotten all over the globe. well deserved.

Hola vecinos!

I just wanna be honest with you; let's get high~

Sorprendente discazo solista del señor cantor Benjamin Diamond, cuya voz aparece en el tema "Music Sounds Better With You" de Stardust, el proyecto paralelo de Daft Punk's Mr. Bangalter . Musica electronica-pop-rock. Let's Get High es EL tema.

Surprisingly good solo record from Mr. Benjamin Diamond, whose voice is featured on the song "Music Sounds Better With You" by Stardust, Daft Punk's Mr. Bangalter side project. Electronica/pop/rock music. Let's Get High is THE tune.

just a bunch of Tantric Monsters from Paradise...

A prized possession in my record collection. The Tantra Monsters! i miraculously picked this up about 14 years ago while hunting for records at the infamous Parque Rivadavia in Buenos Aires one Saturday morning. Back in the days when we would order music through catalogs (some of us still do!) and trust the label name. Dill Records behind these Hawaiian cats who disappeared way too soon, but left this gem of funk, rock and ska with a unique island stamp on their sound. My highlight was their untitled song sung in Japanese. Enjoy!

¡Disfruten!
